Ecclesiastes 3: 1 & 3: 4, Luke 6: 21-22

Verse 1
The rain fall softly from a winters sky a cold wind blows the tears from my eyes
But I don’t feel the wind or the rain I just feel pain

Relationships and emotional pain can rip us apart inside and override any physical pain we might feel at the time however these are also the times when we learn and grow in ways that prepare us to be able to help other people. (Ecclesiastes 3:1 & 3:4)

Why did he leave me nobody knows where has he gone to only he knows
I search and I search but no clues I find I just feel blind

Life is complex we act and are acted upon, we interact with others and they also interact with us and with people we don't know and decisions are often made which we know nothing about which will have a significant impact on us and sometimes our friends are not what they seem to be. (Luke 6: 21-22)

Verse 2
The shops are all open but I’ve nothing to buy all those things mean nothing
Since he said goodbye so I don’t feel the wind or the rain I just feel pain

Material possessions cannot compensate for the warmth of a relationship with someone we love.
